Nixon Presidential Library

We left Olive Ave. RV on Sunday morning to make our way north to LA by way of Yorba Linda, California and the Nixon Presidential Library.  He was the 37th President of the United States.  We had been told it was really interesting and that it hadn't cover up the dirty laundry of Watergate. It did give us a fresh perspective on his presidency.  This was on the land of his birthplace and gave the story of his  political life as Congressman from California,  Eisenhower's VP and his biography and family.  After a couple of hours there we headed to Walnut Ave. RV to settle in for a big week in the Los Angeles Area.  Terry's sister Sue is coming into LAX Monday mid-day and then we will hit it hard.
This library is in Yorba Linda because the western White House at San Clemente is still privately owned

President Fitzpatrick

Love the words even if it is not completely true

The timing of his Presidency was pretty significant to us

China first opened their doors to us because of Nixon's diplomacy

The birthplace is next door to the library
