Chocolate and Booze Tours

Today we did the tours at Whetstone Chocolate Factory and St. Augustine Distillery. The chocolate is Artisan chocolate (read, yummy and costly) and it was an interesting view on the food of the gods. They gave out samples—it would have kept Leeton happy. We moved around the corner to a new distillery for St. Augustine that was started in an Ice Plant so it already has very pure water coming in and should make for good booze. Apparently it does not take a long time to distill vodka as they are now giving samples and selling bottles of the St. Augustine Vodka with gin, rum and bourbon to follow. Even though they only started in December-- the vodka was good—the drink they mixed up with their vodka was really good. They have promised to email it to us and I will share it. It has some mint, lime and ginger in it and it is almost Kentucky Derby time so I will surely add it to my repertoire.
Started my morning with exercise---watching them out the doorway of the boat

Love this sign outside Whetstone's and plan on trying some before we leave
