Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

On this rainy, overcast Wednesday we got up early and went about a half hour north to Simi Valley to visit Ronald Reagan's Presidential Library.  Oh my was it a wonderful visit--we went for 2-3 hours and stayed for 5.  This is the story of the Great Communicator, an actor, Governor of California, American President but what stands out to me -- co-partner in a magical love story.  We loved all his short quotes--"Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall", "We can't help everyone but we all can help someone", "As government expands, liberty contracts.”   We all kept saying that his speech writer should be hired by Trump.

On a hilltop overlooking Simi Valley, this spacious tribute to President was just fabulous.

This picture was done with jelly beans which helped him quit smoking

Nancy was just elegant
Every time we go to a place that has presidential statuary--I have to hold Ronald Reagan's hand!
