Updated Blazing Saddles and Moving North

Last night we went to The Commodore –the Portsmouth movie house and restaurant and it was really fun. A Million Ways to Die in the West was entertaining (BUT lots of foul language and very sexual NOT for children) and it reminded us of a 2014 Blazing Saddles --good audience too. Today we got up early to head up the Chesapeake. Not far out of Norfolk we ran into easterly winds and rolling seas --not welcoming conditions. We did not have this rough of seas on the ocean or crossing the Gulf. We decided to head inland earlier than we had planned so now we are sitting in East River off Mobjack Bay near Yorktown and Williamsburg. We had made the decision to skip these cities—going to the Potomac for our historical fix but ducking into East Lake proved to be the thing to do for us and several other boaters as well. It is calm water and a nice breeze now—it is good to have a Captain that can remain flexible and change plans midstream.

Nice calm anchorage to many of us
