So we do a car ride in the country because while it is a lovely, sunny day there are small ship wind advisories on the Chesapeake. Fitz needed to pay homage to West Marine and it is 30 minutes away in Deltaville, car rides have been scarce on this trip so I ride along. The Virginia countryside is green and beautiful and there is an historic church around every bend –someone has surely done a book about them. We will get to DC in good time but for now Kilmarnock has room for us to stay another night and in order to comfortably cruise the Potomac you need better conditions.
