A storm came through northern Delaware Tuesday night with little warning (weather channel called for a 40% chance of rain) and it carried 60 mph winds—really glad we were not anchored out. We crossed the Delaware River Wed. morning and had a calm/good crossing—it could have been different. This was the busiest waterway (as far as commercial traffic) that we have seen. We passed several huge container ships—as we passed in front of the C&D Canal one big ship came right toward us out of the canal. The Captain showed his great vision and evaded it well (we would have lost that battle). Mid-day we reached Utsch Marina on the Cape May Canal and about a couple miles from this historic town at the southern point of New Jersey. We needed groceries so we broke out the bikes and headed for the Acme Grocery Store. The grocery store had no pimento cheese and apparently they have not heard of such a product—neither did they have Diet Cokes or Pringles. We are not in Kansas anymore Toto. Thursday night we had another storm—but if the weather clears like the pundits say it will, we will be in Atlantic City for the weekend.

Glad you guys are staying safe! But no diet coke or Pringles? How do the natives survive?
