Happy 4th of July
A patriotic holiday in a military town takes on different meaning. Joyce and Bill Craig on Carried Away were perfectly moored to watch the fireworks and invited us and another couple for dinner and viewing. Not only were the company, dinner and fireworks spectacular, the Naval Academy Band was there to play their tunes/marches but the waterfront was full of good people/boat watching. Annapolis is a neat city and we are glad to be here—a little worried about our fellow boaters south and north of us that got hit by Arthur but he cleared out of our area pretty quickly. We still have the winds that will keep us here another day but there is a lot to do and see. Hope all of you had a great holiday.
