Michael Buble

A night on the town and an evening with Michael was all it was cracked up to be. We took the short but $13 cab to the Boardwalk (because we were dressed up—for boaters) and hit the boardwalk about 5pm for the 8pm show. Staying up until midnight was surely going to be the biggest challenge so we napped first and we were ready to go. Oysters at Bally’s outside bar-Harry’s, then dinner at Phillips in Caesar’s Palace was a blow out experience—costly but fabulous. As always we talked to the bartenders and people around us and found our accent makes us stick out more than ever. The seats in the Boardwalk Hall/Arena were great and (this being the first concert we have gone to in years) was super. We had a full moon so afterwards we had to go lose some money in the casinos but our age is showing—it took about 30 minutes to lose $30 dollars in the slots and we went home. There are high winds off the coast so it will be a couple of days before we head into New York.
